COFFEE: SLEEP WHEN YOU'RE DEAD

This personal project is an ode to my favorite drink and daily ritual. I needed a new desktop wallpaper but didn't like anything I found online, so I decided to create my own, I wanted to give a mid-century feel to the word, sort of like you would see in mid-century diner style typography, while still adding a modern aesthetic to the overall design. The typography was first sketched out, then traced into a vector illustration in Adobe Illustrator. The word "drink" was added to the top during the vectorizing process because I decided the original phrasing was not clear enough.
